Ariel Raguso, TCRG

    Ariel began dancing at the age of eight and was immediately hooked.  With a long and diverse career in competition and performance, she realized early on that Irish dance was something she would revolve her life around.  Winning local open championship competitions and achieving multiple top ten titles at regional events, Ariel enjoyed being qualified to compete at numerous National and World level competitions as she reached the top of her competitive career.  She was also able to enjoy performing in a wide range of venues, from many Irish weddings and pubs to Wolf trap and the Kennedy Center.  At age twelve, she began assisting her dance teacher with classes, and at age sixteen she was running classes on her own.  When she finally decided to retire from competition, she sat for her TCRG exam, passing on the first attempt in 2014. This certification allows the teacher to enter students in competitions within the largest Irish dance organizations in the world, CLRG.  

    Opening Misneach Irish Dance Academy in 2019 has been a dream come true. Ariel looks forward to the future and success of all of her students!
