Our Ashburn Irish dance classes are designed for kids who want to move, grow, and build confidence in a supportive environment. Beginners are always welcome, and each dancer is encouraged to progress at their own pace.

Tir na nOg Classes
Q. Do you offer a toddler dance class? A. We take dancers as young as 2 years old in our Tir na nOg class. Its best for children between 2-5 who are not ready for the Green class. Q. How long is the class? A. Our Tir na nOg class is a 30-minute class. Q. What will my children learn in a toddler dance class? A. Our Tir na nOg dancers learn coordination, balance, and rhythm with fun games and energetic Celtic music. Little dancers will begin to learn how to point their toes, turn out their feet, and balance with their hands by their side. Parents are welcome to observe or participate. |
Green Beginner Classes
Q. Are Irish Dance classes good for beginners? A. Absolutely, Irish Dance is great for beginners. Our program is designed to meet dancers where they are and help them grow step by step. Q. What age can they start? A. Most students start between 5-10 years old but we welcome a range of ages. Q. What time can they take class? A. Our Ashburn Green classes are available on Sundays from 4:30-5:30 |
Adult Classes
Q. Do I need experience to start Irish Dance as an adult? A. Not at all! Many of our dancers start without ever taking a dance class. There are some who may have danced as children, but we welcome anyone into our community who wants to learn! Q. What do I need to start taking class? A. All you need to start is comfortable clothing and a water bottle. Our adult dancers learn both soft shoe and hard shoe dancing. So eventully you should get a pair of both. |
