Starting something new can feel like a big step—for both kids and parents. Our beginner Irish dance classes are designed to make that first experience fun, welcoming, and confidence-building from day one.
Q. What age can they start?
A. Most students start between 5-10 years old but we welcome a range of ages.
Q. What do I need for class?
A. For the first few classes, our dancers either wear old dance shoes or sneakers, and comfortable clothing. Once you get started, you will need to purchase Irish soft shoes.
Q. What if my child is shy?
A. That’s completely normal. Many of our dancers start out shy and grow in confidence over time. Our goal is to create a space where every child feels supported, encouraged, and excited to come back each week.
Q. Can we try a class before we enroll?
A. Yes! We would love to have you and your child come sit in on a class to see if its a good fit.
Q. Where are your classes?
A. Our Green Beginner classes are held in Ashburn on Sundays, Charles Town on Tuesdays, and Purcellville on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
