Our classes at Tir na nOg offer a unique opportunity to experience Irish dance in a setting that celebrates culture and community. Dancers build skills while connecting with tradition and music.
Q. What does Tir na nOg mean?
A. Tir Na Nog is Gaelic for "land of the youth."
Q. How young can my child sign up?
A. Our Tir Na Nog class is a great introduction for children 2-5 to explore creative movement and Irish dancing fundamentals.
Q. What will my child learn?
A. Our class is designed to help your child learn coordination, balance, and rhythm with fun games and energetic Celtic music. Little dancers will begin to learn how to point their toes, turn out their feet, and balance with their hands by their side.
Q. Are Parents and siblings allowed to watch the class?
A. Parents are welcome to observe or participate to encourage your little dancer. Your dancer's independence and focus are a big part of our curriculum as they acclimate to class.
Q. What does my child need for class?
A. No costume or shoe purchases are necessary. We recommend grippy socks and lightweight clothing so they can move freely in and not get distracted by.

A. We limit our Tir na nOg classes to 6 dancers.
